ABOUT

Vicary Produce was established in 1977 by Harold Hooper, a pioneer in the Seed Marketing Industry.  During his time in business, Harold worked alongside many farmers, sourcing a market for their legume crops.  For many years, Harold marketed Mungbeans for Central Queensland farmers, Frank and Kym Eitel.  This was the foundation for a valued friendship in business.

As Harold neared retirement, he offered his business to Frank and Kym.  In late 2005, Frank and Kym took over the reigns of Vicary Produce.

Vicary Produce works alongside Allenden Seeds to pack Mungbeans for both domestic and export sales.

Originally from Texas, USA, Frank moved to Australia in 1978, where his family began their farming partnership.

After the retirement of his parents, Frank and Kym bought their own property to continue farming.  Frank ceased farming when he began operating Vicary Produce in 2005.

Allenden Seeds is a family owned and operated grading and packing establishment.

The Allenden's have been in the farming industry for generations, and it was their own need for quality grading that led to them establishing the grading shed in 1978.
